[From Sleigh Bell's myspace page]
I've had Crown on the Ground on repeat all day, and now thanks to stereogum, I've got a bunch of their other demos, now-- GO GO GO!
Anyhow, insane synths; danceable fat, lo-fi, raw beats copped from your favorite rap song; and smooth, liquid-ey vocals make this extremely catchy, extremely awesome, and extremely dangerous (with regards to hurting yourself while dancing).
One thing puts me off, though: "Sleigh Bells"? What's the story behind that name? But in any case, five dollars says they'll be huge by the end of 2010.
Listen: A/B Machines, Infinity Guitar, Crown on the Ground
